The first part of a multiple site installation in development over three countries, Islands:Crossing is a multichannel sound and new media installation shown for the first time at DVAA. Comprising audiovisual material collected around Central Australia by festival artists during Sounds Unusual in Alice Springs. Plus short film program from Australia and Europe featuring innovative explorations of sound and video on show in the DEAF space.
