SU06 Updates
Some of the Sounds Unusual festival's local artists will be playing for your dancing pleasure at the Isotopia Festival over this coming long weekend (9-12 June), making sure it won't be all trance and that some new sounds get some air. Click n cut, microsampled and broken beats, processed drones, found sounds and whimsy will be the extra flavours to keep the rest of your body going where your feet lead. Although not all the artists are listed as yet, for programme and location details as well as information on the forum, films and nuclear industry's proposed activities in the NT visit www.isotopiafestival.org
After this year's festival some of the visiting artists will be heading out bush in the ArtBack troopie to spend some time in the local landscape, go bushwalking, camping and fishing (and do some field recording they have said).
